» Kalebsmom - Share your recipes In the spirit of mothers (and fathers) helping each other out, why not start a recipe swap of favorite baby/toddler foods? Just post them here! Here's one to get us started:PEAS! 1 cup of steamed peas Liquid (water, breastmilk, formula or juice) 1 baked potato Puree all of the ingredients together until smooth. I do not bother removing the husk, because my purees turn out smooth anyhow. Add only as much liquid as you need to get it to the consistency your baby will accept (mine prefers the runny mashed potato consistency). A tip: the potato calms the strong flavor down a bit, making it more acceptable to a baby. I also use this trick with other veggies such as brocolli and green beans. -- posted by Kalebsmom
