Homeless living in cars

It seems odd to say that those with a car or some type of roof over their head are a blessed lot of homeless but they are, and the truth is, they know it.

Not many months ago, I was homeless and alone. A granny without anything but the clothes on my back and a change of clothes in a sack. What I would have given for a vehicle, but would have had no money for gas! A roof over my head, one that belonged to me, where solitude could be found would have been wonderful.
