This man has always fascinated me, not unlike Elvis in his final days.

I'm looking forward to making a trek to Oregon to see the Spruce Goose. Perhaps I should put this book on my list of "reads."

Jerri, I HIGHLY recommend the book - it's a balanced and HONEST telling of Hughes' life, in my opinion.

And he fascinates me too, if only because if I were slightly more mental about germs I could BE him. I jokingly refer to myself as "Howardina Hughes" when I get particularly freaked out about germs. =)
