In the past four years I have witnessed first hand how mean, cruel, selfish, greedy, and hateful people can be. How do I know this? Because they have been that way to me. I always offer to help people and they take advantage of it in the long run. Extend your hand out in friendship to anyone these days and you pull back a bloody stump. Even family can't be trusted. People LOVE and get their jollies at kicking someone when their already down. Perhaps it is a power thing. I don't know. I do know that this world in which we live in is deteriorating at a rapid pace and the use or misuse of Reki hasn't got a damn bit to do with it.I've been there and see people act this way. It is sick and makes me want to puke.

I think you have written this without completely knowing about Reiki. I am into in for the last four months and great things are happening to me. Don't make comments without knowing completely about the subject.

hi!!!.. what u said was proababably unwaranted.. u see. reiki is based and the fundamental principle of love.. and love cannot harn ne1... in fact when u undergo reiki.. te first thing that happenes to u is u feel happy and contented.. like u never want nething better..like u r loved a lot... think about it...

I felt the same for ages after helping friends through their problems, then finding out in the end I had just been used and tricked. I even helped a 10 year old boy that was suicidal and yet the next day I was royally told off for doing so.
I did Reiki to get my sense of self back, who i really am and to build up all the energy i had given to people.

In my group there were three other nurses, very similiar to myself that have spent their energy on helping people.
We all felt the energy flow between us all, because we work with our hands and our minds. Instead of giving to others, we were giving to ourselves.
Reiki is only puting back in us, what we have given to people ourselves.
