Great article, Cheeky! I wish I were as able to see my guides as you and Rosee are, but maybe I'm too dense. lol
I have learned not to discount less spectacular experiences however. Sometimes I am "guided" to information I need and it looks like nothing but pure coincidence...but I don't believe in coincidence as much as I used to.

No No being dense has nothing to do with it at all or I wouldn't see my spirit guides ever! LOL I don't see my guides all the time. Don't want to make out like I see them everytime I turn around. LOL But when I get into a really good meditation I do. I have a bit of a hard time relaxing so this doesn't happen too often. I would love to hear about your attunement when you are ready to share. Hint hint......

» chamomile - Reiki

This was a wonderful article, and seems to have come at the right time in my life..I have felt so out of sinc lately, knowing I should be doing something and not knowing quite what, it feels like I am being pulled.I have been interested in Reiki for a while now but I have been unable to find someone to teach me..My path has crossed with many things lately, trying to figure out which one is for me..I even went to a reading and I was told that I had been a healer in my past lives, and I have always been drawn toward taking care of people I guess that is why I work in the hospital field..Anyway, I just wanted to say I enjoyed your article very much...And Thankyou

If you don't start seeing them this time, Plox... wait till you reach Level 2! That's the mental/emotional mind blower level! hahaha And if they are still a little shy... level 3 gets 'em every time!

I'm GLAD to see you feeling so good!

Love & Hugs,
Darlene

In response to message posted by Rosee:

It's the same with me, Rosee... I see spirits almost every day, and often on a day when I see one, I see several. But, they often vary in form... on my weaker days, I see lights, shadows, feel presences... only on the really powerful days do I see forms in the shape of a person, and sometimes those are so strong in energy, I can even see their "clothes" they were. It's pretty cool, and I wish I had those powerful days much more often LOL

Love & Hugs,
Darlene

Hi there Kim! *smile* Thank you for the compliment on the article. It's very cool how those things we need in our life show up at just the right time, isn't it? Sometimes we may not think they'll ever get here, but when they do, the timing is perfect. And yes, I think most nurses must be natural healers... otherwise, they couldn't possibly cope with the things they have to go through. Only things that are part of our spirits purpose can be tolerated even at their worst times. Nursing is a prime example of that! And anyone who's ever been sick and met a nurse who wasn't meant to be a healer appreciates a natural healer when they get one! LOL

Hope to see you in Reiki Class!
Love & Hugs,
Darlene

» Rocksy - Great Article

I have always been one to listen to my "gut" feelings. Sometimes they are so strong. I also have always thought that I had some real reason for being on this earth. Since I do believe in past lives, spirits, and even time travel (don't laugh,I think it can be done), I really want to get into all of this. I just find that I have so little time. Where do you find the time to do all of this?

In response to message posted by Rocksy:

Well, Marian, it's ALL I do LOL I don't have children, I rarely ever leave my house... Dave sits in front of the TV (when we have one) or in a book when we don't. I've got past life regression tapes that I used to use when I first started... I'd just play them before bed at night. Now, I can leave my body pretty much at will and I usually just ask my guides to show me the life that I need to see.

As far as the spirits... I have no control over their time schedule LOL They show up at the oddest times you ever saw... even driving down the road or taking a shower (I hate it when they catch me in the shower!)

And on busy days when I seem to have too much going on to do any spiritual work... I make myself take an hour out. And when I don't try to make time out for this type of stuff, Cheree' will show up and be ready for class or have a million questions or want to do a regression. I'm sure mine and her guides work together to make us work harder.

So it must be important work... and if it's important enough to get my guides in on it, I figure I really should make the time. I haven't had coffee yet, so I feel like I'm rambling LOL But I guess what I'm trying to say is this work is my job, so I have plenty of opportunity to do it. For people who don't do this type of thing for a living, well, y'all just have to set aside an hour a day and do it. And just like with me, those intuitive moments and "contacts" will begin to show up when you least expect it and MAKE time for you *grin*

Now, I'm going to hush and go get my coffee... maybe my next post will make more sense LOL

Love & Hugs,
Darlene

» tamara_peters - I'm still here Dar

Just wanted to let you know that I didn't drop out, and I just printed out this article. I will get caught up this weekend. I hope. I also wanted to share with you that after my father died, in this house three years ago, I know he was still here for the next year. I felt, smelled, and saw his presence. Also, water and lights were turned on and off. I am not sure if this is what I was meant to do, but I do know that I have senced other presences around me for most of my life. I used to think my houses were haunted, but they always seemed to follow me whenever we moved to a new one. I used to think there was something wrong with me as I also heard a voice once asking me what I wanted. My husband thought I was nuts when I asked him what he had said. Because I was scared, and convinced I was crazy I ignored whatever messages I might have received. I think I am ready now to find out. smile

Oh Tamara, that is very interesting. I think you are ready too.

My mother still hears her dad talk to her, and he passed away in 1977. If she is having a problem doing something, she hears him tell her what to do. She does what he says, and it works. I find that so amazing.

I lived in a "haunted" house at one time, but it was not a good presence in it. We found out later, that the woman that owned the house (a self proclaimed witch) had used it as a bordello during the war years. She was also a burlesque dancer (sp) at one time, and I don't think she hung out with good spirits.

It was a very scary experience! She was alive, and lived on the same property at the same time. Her house was a short walking distance from the one we lived in. I remember her telling me when we first moved there that if I saw her running around the yard naked during the night not to worry because she was a witch. I laughed it off @ first until things began to happen.

Not good things either
