In response to message posted by CarolWallace:

TURMERIC

A cleanser for all systems in the body, as wel as a digestive aid. It also treats fever, infections, arthritis and circulation. It says for arthritis type pain, you can warm 1 cup of milk and remove it from the heat before it boils. Stir in 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, and you can drink up to 3 cups of this a day.

GINGER

Ginger is a muscle relaxant, digestive aid, and physical and spiritual cleanser. It says in the book, Encyclopedia of Natural Remedies, that the Greeks wrapped the root in a piece of bread and ate it after a heavy meal to prevent indigestion... this is the origin of gingerbread *smile* And I believe Karyn posted an interesting recipe for gingerale/ginger tea at her site.

ARNICA

This one is used for aches and bruises, rheumatism, gout and dystentery. You can get arnica in a cream to rub on sprains and bruises or take internally for cases of shock. It also stimulates the healing of damaged tissue and is excellent for long-term joint and muscle pain. It says here, that it is also good for concentration!

I give your doc an A+ *grin*

Love & Hugs,
Darlene
