I taped the regression script and have been using it. It's been interesting what I have come up with. Very different and quite relaxing too! Feel like I have slept for a week after the regression.

» mastiffs2005 - Hi Deb!

It is a wonderfully relaxed feeling, isn't it! I thought I'd share some of the regressions that I've done on myself, and things that I've learned.

I have seen myself as oriental, native American, caucasion, African, male, female, animal, and even as a tree. One of the most fun lifetimes I think I had as as a gypsy man, and I still love fortune telling.

Now, why do we live so many lives as different things, and since I say that we are to learn from these experiences, what have I learned?

We have to have balance spiritually. It is my belief that we have to have the experience of living a life as many different types of beings, so that we have compassion for all beings. My life as a tree taught me that all things are alive, and all things do have feelings and energy. Most of the lives that I've been to, I have been a healer of some type. Lots of my lifetimes, I see myself picking herbs in a garden, and once in a forrest. So this tells me that what I'm doing is something that I have previous knowledge of, and I try to bring that knowledge from the past life back with me to this life.

I believe that people who have been one particular type of skilled person in several lifetimes, will show a natural talent for those skills in this lifetime.

Now, let me say again... these are my own personal spiritual beliefs, and my goal with these articles is to bring you more in touch with your own. Someone on a searching path may find some answers here, someone on a path that they've come to accept as their right path, may find confirmation of their beliefs.

If you have an outlined religion, and you are following the path that you've followed all your life, and that your parents followed, and their parents before them, I am not asking you to accept these beliefs, nor do I intend to offend those beliefs because mine are so unusual *smile*.

I still write most of my articles based on questions from my readers, and this subject came up during Holistic Therapy chat a couple of weeks ago, and I wanted to make sure it was properly addressed.

The next two weeks, we'll be discussing two books which explore the spirit world in depth. Some of you may not agree with the content of these books, but I do hope you listen in and keep an open heart and mind. The hypnotherapist in these books takes people to their spiritual lives between their physical lives here on earth, where they chose their paths for the next life, meet their guides, and heal and re-energize before coming back to earth (or even other planets) to live another life.

This is going to be very interesting *smile*

Hugs to everyone,
Darlene

» mastiffs2005 - Y'all will enjoy this one *smile*

This 85-year-old couple, having been married almost 60 years, had died in a
car crash. They had been in good health the last ten years mainly due to her
interest in health, food, and exercise.

When they reached the pearly gates, St. Peter took them to their mansion
which was decked out with a beautiful kitchen and master bath suite and
Jacuzzi.

As they "oohed and aahed," the old man asked Peter how much all this was
going to cost.

"It's free," Peter replied, "this is Heaven."

Next they went out back to survey the championship golf course that the home
backed up to. They would have golfing privileges everyday and each week the
course changed to a new one representing the great golf courses on earth.

The old man asked, "What are the green fees?"

Peter's reply, "This is heaven, you play for free."

Next they went to the club house and saw the lavish buffet lunch with the
cuisines of the world laid out.

"How much to eat?" asked the old man.

"Don't you understand yet? This is heaven, it is free!" Peter replied with
some exasperation.

"Well, where are the low fat and low cholesterol tables?" the old man asked
timidly.

Peter lectured, "That's the best part...you can eat as much as you like of
whatever you like and you never get fat and you never get sick. This is
Heaven."

With that the old man went into a fit of anger, throwing down his hat and
stomping on it, and shrieking wildly.

Peter and his wife both tried to calm him down, asking him what was wrong.
The old man looked at his wife and said, "This is all your fault. If it
weren't for your blasted bran muffins, I could have been here ten years
ago!"

Seemed to fit the topic pretty well *smile*

» micklady - Part one of Life regressions

I enjoyed this article and look forward to the next. I have been just introduced to the topic and find is so "lessons learning" that I found You both. This is a great site and you two (darlene and Deb ) are fascinating. We were destine to meet. I agree that in each life we have lessons to learn and if we IGNORE them they keep surfacing. So I bel we must be open to the messages. I have found that the messages come in all types of forms and shapes or nosies. Also a big part of the messages and "Journey" throught life as I call it, it to help others and pass the lessons along, so to make the world a better place. Call it soupy if you like but thats my idea. What does the world think ?

» mastiffs2005 - Oh, I think it's so important!

I think it's important for the main reason that we know there's more than just being here and then dying, and nothing more. If we mess up, we don't have to beat ourselves up... we'll get a chance to balance it out. If we are hurt, we can heal, and carry the way we healed into our memory for our next life. We know that there's more out there than what we see with our eyes... we open our hearts and minds and can talk to our guides who are spirits that have learned so much more than we have... that's that little voice called "intuition" giving us little hints along the way, protecting us.

Dr. Newton describes the spirit world as a peaceful, loving and accepting and nonjudgmental place where everyone works together to grow spiritually. Learning about this takes the fear out of dying... it takes the fear out of so much about our lives.

Micklady, we're so glad you've joined us, too ((HUG)) Everything happens for a reason *smile*

Have a great day,
Darlene

» coulter3 - New Member

Hi there, it's nice to meet you all. I am new to the subject of past life regression, and am introducing myself to it through the work of Gary Zukav's book "Seat of the Soul". I wondered if any of you have any opinions of his work, or might suggest other reading you feel is noteworthy. Thank you very much.

» mastiffs2005 - Welcome Coulter!

I searched for years on books on reincarnation and past lives, and was so disappointed in the selection out there. However, I have heard of Seat of the Soul, and it is supposed to be a wonderful book. The two books I read for this series of articles was Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls by Dr. Michael Newton. I highly recommend his two books. They're very direct, well researched, and contain a lot of information for a small investment, and not an overwhelming amount of reading time. They're also very easy to understand. Okay, so I loved them *smile* I've also heard that Many Lives, Many Masters that Micklady recommended is a great book, but it's still on my wish list hehehe

Please be sure to let us know how your research comes along, and definitely share any questions you may come across.

Very nice to meet you, and have a wonderful day!
Darlene
