» mastiffs2005 - Mariah.... Thanks so much! Let me know how you do and if you have any questions....Best Wishes to You, -- posted by mastiffs2005 » CarolWallace - Well, I sure Do need energy But you have me curious about the auras. Can yoy tell what color someone's aura is? And how do you learn to do that?-- posted by CarolWallace » mastiffs2005 - Carol... Yes, I can see other people's auras... I can usually look at someone and tell what part of their body they are sick in because there is a black or dark spot on that part of their aura. It is very easy to learn to do:To start, stand someone in front of a solid white background with normal lighting. Then soften your gaze and stare just past their left shoulder at their face level... you will probably see a grayish energy "fuzz" outlining their face and shoulder... you may even see color! Then if you pull gaze back some and focus on the outline of the body, you will see the entire outline. The more you practice doing this (it is recommended to not miss a day of practicing for 1 month) the more clear the colors and impressions you get will be. You will see vibrations that are off, or "holes", or dark spots if someone is sick. It is believed that is why Jesus is always pictured with a halo... that his energy was so strong and vibrant that everyone could see it! The aura colors tell you a lot about a person, too. If a person's aura is green, they may need healing or be a healer... if it is yellow, compassion... orange is energy and health... red is sexuality... blue is communication... indigo is higher mental and intuition... and the violet or violet white is spiritual consciousness. Another interesting thing is this is where you get colors for your crystals and candles... I even think that when you wake up in the morning and chose a color to wear, it is a color that your "aura" needs to bring into it that day. It's like mixing colors of paint. If you need healing (green), but your aura is vibrating at a communicative rate (blue), then you could add a yellow scarf to your outfit and change your aura's color to vibrate at a healing rate. This also works say, if you want to bring passion or romance into your life, you can burn a red candle or wear a variation of red in a crystal... your aura "attracts" what is desired. Your aura is also able to "feel" other people's aura (energy)... when you are open, your aura reaches out... spreads wider and further way from you.... when you are nervous, frightened, or inhibited... your aura pulls up very close to your body and pushes away other energies. Buddha's aura was said to have been felt over 100 miles away. I'll be doing an in-depth series of articles on crystal healing, color healing and aura work the first two or three weeks in March, so if everyone starts practicing reading auras now, in a month you'll be pro's at the crystal work! *smile* Oh, and ask more questions if you have them! This is such an interesting subject. Take Care, -- posted by mastiffs2005 » CarolWallace - Colors and auras I sure hope the colors I choose to wear don't have anything to do with my aura. My favorite color for clothing is black. I used to worry about it being too unrelieved and added scarves and rackets and things for color, but one day desided that I didn't really care - I LIKED all black. My husband calls me Mrs. Johnny Cash - but I still prefer all black. That's really interesting about the auras, though. I probably will not be able to get my husband to stand still long enough while I practice - but I sure would like to try. (I'm not joking when I ask this - but do animals have auras? It would be easier to practice on the cats.) -- posted by CarolWallace » mastiffs2005 - Carol.... Everything has an aura... even rocks! You can practice on your cats as well as all of your plants... often with plants, you will actually see their auras touching as they reach out to eachother... it is quite beautiful! And if your clothing color choice is all black, I wouldn't worry about that at all! I tend to wear green... I have a real problem liking anything in a store that isn't green. I think if you pay attention though, you'll see other color preferences on different days matching different moods. You won't believe how easy this is either! Keep me posted, -- posted by mastiffs2005 » bindweed - Auras and Self protection! Darlene you wrote"our aura is also able to "feel" other people's aura (energy)... when you are open, your aura reaches out... spreads wider and further way from you.... when you are nervous, frightened, or inhibited... your aura pulls up very close to your body and pushes away other energies." Now I am wondering if my violet died! Years ago I was fortunate to be able to learn from a wonderful psychic (she too had great problems with the energy of the community I am in--finally left.) One of the many things I learned from her, was that I am a group learner better than in any one to one. With her I kept testing, and she had to slap me back every now and then. Other 'teachers' have had the same problem with me -- Hypnotherapist and an Astrologer friend as well. By comparison, when I brought a friend of mine to the latter, she looked at me, like I was some tight shoe she always had to squeeze into. With my partner she was able to enter like a comfortable old shoe -- made sure I knew it too! In the group sessions I always fared much better -- no competition, or what? What I did notice about myself, was that in these situations I was always very wary about getting into a circle of people -- often pulling myself out of a position because I felt whacked by the person directly across from me. Replanted more safely, I was always proven right. The partners I paired off with, were also always the ones I needed at that time. Energies are funny things -- and they can be sucked out of one quite easily. They also can be felt and shared quite incredibly. In Santa Cruz I worked in half way houses, even helped create one for people from Agnew State Hospital. (I was a volunteer in the wards there.) One person I met during those years was a psychiatrist who practised 'Fire' Yoga. He also had a home for autistic kids. Yoga was part of their care. Upon entering his home I felt as if I had entered a bowl of golden amber honey. Not only was there such a feeling of light but the pressure of the air was as if liquid. Never felt anything quite like it ever again. I would love to hear a note on this experience and it's meaning. Was I to be a fly to amber? Anyhow, I have learned from every article you have posted. It makes me miss my old psychic teacher all the more! (I am going to use some of your scripts for sure!) Have to go to work, so I'll post off -- but Darlene, remind me if I forget, to tell you my Spirit Owl experience. It too ended up with a chakra experience and perhaps a suggestion for a future article. Chakra's auras and sex -- a non-physical quickening to say the least! Herbert Senft -- posted by bindweed » mastiffs2005 - Herb... *smile* Woo Hoo... you make my brain work! LOLMore and more my friends and family members tell me I'm becoming a hermit... I'd much rather sit out here on my pond and just enjoy the energy of the trees, water, land, animals... and so on... than venture off to the mall where the energy is so negative. And I do the same thing about moving away from bad energy... I may soon leave my little haven out here because of some of the energies that have started drifting in... now there seems to be a steady flow of "off" energy. I am on my way over to respond to your other post about selling your house and all, but the thing that hit me most with your post here was the wonderfully fluid amber energy of your friends house *sigh*... Did you feel very warm and "melty" while you were there, because I feel that way just hearing you talk about his home's energy. I know you practice feng shui in your garden, so I am sure that it flows over into your home. When someone has absolutely fabulous energy, it builds up in their habitat. Although it may not feel anything other than "every day" to the person living there, the person who happens to visit for the first time may find it overwhelming. And wonderful too? Your friend must have had a fabulous amount of energy and love. I experience something like this in my every day life here... possibly why I'm getting drifts of negative energy. My house is the "safe place" whenever something bad happens in the neighborhood. My friends and neighbors literally call it that. If someone's fighting, or whatever, the entire neighborhood drifts to my front door. People feel safe and comfortable and protected when they come to my house. I like that, but at the same time, it can be very draining to the energies when it happens too frequently *smile*. To touch on our experiences with the group, you must have some strong guides! They are pushing you in the directions you need to go. Follow them, and trust your own instincts and energy. You can't go wrong! I love our chats! -- posted by mastiffs2005 » bindweed - My Feng Shui is invested everywhere else! Darlene,I will definitely get into some of your other wonderful insights. Today I am soaked to the bone after laying two yards of concrete patio and rock work. AND yes stones have very slow moving souls too. Hermit! I have become. Much because all but one of my female friends, mentors and guides have moved away. Yes, they have always been the rock of my existence ... goes back to High School. Either I have been a female in a former life (not indicated) or am fated to be reborn as one. I sort of have an Irish accent and have always wondered about it. Two regressions suggested I was a priest in Northern England and one in Ireland. The one in Ireland was a writer of church music* and I could view his life very clearly ... he also had a lot of fun, and his beloved was one hunk of a gal. I could actually hover above them and watch with joy their love and energy. (describe the room, the furniture, their features and their clothes --no voices though.) She drowned at Sea, he drank himself to death believing that she had abandoned him. Footnote, ever since I was a child I loved Gregorian Chants and never knew why, Irish sea shanties were my second love. (German born - go figure!) In some respects, I could very easily fit into a monastery ... then again not, boredom and routine are the killers of my soul. So is authority! Negative energies: unfortunately this area has many of them, and fighting off the old dying energy is a constant battle. One of the main reasons all my dear friends have left ... and why I have never tried to attract a partner here. My friend with the amber energy. Actually it was very "warm and melty." He and my Aikido instructor had the same spiritual energy. Dumb cluck that I was then, I didn't quite know what I had. (Fly drawn to amber was a good description!) Last. Sadly I do not really practice feng shui in my own garden, because I know I will leave. There is no investment being made aside from the landscape motions -- no love for this house at all. Instead I am building good feng shui in the gardens of all my "female" employers. All strong wise women. Two are selling and are leaving ARGH! "the person who happens to visit for the first time may find it overwhelming. And wonderful too? Your friend must have had a fabulous amount of energy and love." The remaining one -- yes all of that is true about her. Darlene, Your safe house. -- This is the first time in my life I lock my house always, even when inside. That neighbor also has automatic weapons -- and could someday go over the edge. It's just that this stubborn Sagg. refuses to be pushed out of his nest, no matter what kind of briar patch it's become! It is also a repeat of the confrontation I had in Boston years ago -- I do not retreat very often. (Or wisely!) Guides. I used to have them and felt their butterfly touch constantly. Since moving here, I have let them go, and now somehow, need to re-invite and connect to them, or to new ones. This morning's latest dream did again give me a STRONG message to leave! No tap on the shoulder, no butterfly, it was a push. WHAT ELSE! Question. Sort of in the recurring dream thing; I do not have any. I do however, often wake up, startled to the sound of the phone ringing. One call, so loud that I wake up. I never could figure it out, except it was a signal for me to get up and look around -- sumtin's happening! Last note -- "Sally and the cold kitchen." My lovely psychic friend Roni, visited my former house, went through the kitchen and into a tiny narrow sunroom. "Herb, this is your nicest room. You do know you have a ghost living here, not to worry she likes you." Yeah I liked her to. Sally may possibly have been her name -- if not something close to it. Herbert Senft -- posted by bindweed » mastiffs2005 - Herb.. Follow your heart. You already know what you are meant to do, even if you don't know where it's leading you.Darlene -- posted by mastiffs2005
