In response to Like riding a bicycle! posted by Dan_Ellsworth: Dan, believe it or not, I've seen people try to teach the balance part of riding a bicycle first LOL It was pretty darned funny (except to the kid who kept falling over) I think we all heal in our own ways in our own time... we're never completely balanced in any one area - so what we feel drawn to work on (no pun intended LOL) at any given time is probably just what we need at that time? I may feel really in need of creativity today, really in need of some yoga tomorrow, really in need of some spiritual work the next day... but then as I begin to work on each area, I can see how they would all start to lap over each other! Each little thing put together is good for ALL of me Thanks for the compliment on my tree woman I kept being drawn to the middle area, too - wondered if something was supposed to be there... then I saw that she was listening for something... possibly wondering what was down that path. I think each of us could put something into that "O" of possibility, so that leaves the drawing open to the imagination, doesn't it? I really like your view of it!!! When I posted it on my PhotoBlog, I wrote this to go with the picture... She listens... is it the wind in the trees? is it his voice calling to her? is it a memory... a spirit guide... the echo of her own heartbeat? She listens... and wonders if the wind will ever be still again. and wonders where that path will lead. and wonders if it's all just in her mind after all. She holds on to the strength of the tree... feels the ground beneath her bare feet... is calmed by the constant presence of the wind... and is finally able to listen to her own inner voice... ...where all the answers lie. Hope you have a wonderful day! Love & Hugs, Dar
