Are you hiding from me, Dar? How come you are not in the Birthday Club? If you had been, I would have sent out a notice to all the BD Club members along with all the other November birthdays.So which day is your birthday? Are you letting Dave spoil you on that day? I hope so. See if you can spend one single day not working.

Traute, my birthday is today, the 23rd... don't know how I've slipped by the birthday club all these years No, I've not managed to not spend the day working... you didn't really expect that?

40 years ago, I was in my senior year at college, my first engagement was in the past, and . . . I had VOTED, back when the age requirement was 21.But I had not taken an alcoholic beverage -- but that's another story.

Dan? No advice about being 40??? I sure need some LOL I only have 1 friend who is older than me, and last time I saw him, I scolded, "You could've warned me about this 40 thing!" He just laughed and said, "I tried, I tried!" I don't remember him trying, but that was in my "younger" years, and I didn't listen so well "back then." hehehe
Explorational... if it ain't a word, it should be And sounds like exactly the type of year I'd like to have, too!
Dave's out fishing this morning, and I slept in a bit. I haven't given up coffee in my "old age," so I'm working on my first pot I get to bake all day for Thanksgiving, which is always a treat for my birthday... I'll leave some extra pumpkin and pecan pies here on the table just in case y'all need a treat, too

Go with it. These next ten years will be the very best of your entire life.

Phil, it certainly seems like I'm in that timeframe where these should be the best years of my life! I've got kind of an expectant thing going on... what will happen next?
AAahhhhh I just saw the title of the song in the url, and I'm singing already! Off to listen to the music and play it really loud and wake Dave up hehehe We're supposed to be at his mother's in 2 hours, and he's snoring away
