It's a sad reminder of the second class status the Indians had that a murderer could go free. Thanks for this very interesting article -- I enjoyed reading it.

What a great idea to include the recipe!

Yes, it is very sad that the Native Americans were treated this way. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incidence and happened quite often. Native Americans didn't even have second class citizenship in a land they rightfully owned.

I'm glad you liked the recipe and the article. I hope to include more recipes in upcoming articles.
