War Is Sweet to Those Who Do Not Know It

It's interesting to look between the two articles
and many other examples of Peace Movements that
exist to find so many accomplished writers.

I've often wondered, had the conflict not
occurred, would those people still be writers?
Would their passion and their words drive us
as great?

I often find it ironic that people go out to
fight wars and conquer lands and peoples so that
they can exist in some kind of "immortal" state.
Yet, it is the writers, who put their ideals to
paper, moreso than the warriors, that are
remembered through time.
