Kelly,
As a human rights activist with strong interest in conditions in Indonesia, I am very happy to have Mr.Toer's profile featured in your first article.

Keep up the good work. I welcome further correspondence, if you are interested.

I just read one of Toer's books, This Earth of Mankind. I became fascinated with Indonesia and the book inspired me profile him in my article.

Toer has written a memoir about his experiences, titled The Mute's Soliloquy.

Have you read this or any of Toer's other works? I welcome any information you have about Indonesia and Toer.

Welcome Kelly. I've been trying to find someone for this topic ever since I first became a manager. I'm glad I waited until you came along. All these military writers need a little peace! I'm really looking forward to learning more about how the world has worked for peace. There are lessons to be learned for the future! It will be a pleasure to be your manager.

Terri and Pippa,

Thank you for your warm welcome. I'm excited to be writing about peace and human rights. I have learned so much in my research and I want to pass this along to others.

Kelly,
A group of translators is currently translating Toer's Hoakiau, a book on ethnic Chinese in Indonesia. (I will keep you informed on the progress.)

Here is a link on Toer that you might be interested in:
