» newswriting - I write nonfiction family history books and articles.

I write nonfiction family history books and articles. I've been hired to write non-fiction--how-to articles for writers of nonfiction. I was told to post in the discussion group, and I will be emailed the URL to find my contract. Can I also find out where I can post the blog content? Thanks all. I'm new and need to find out where to post.

Here is my posting. I've posted my family history books on my Web site at http://www.newswriting.net with excerpts from some of them.

I also write historical fiction as well as family history nonfiction and collect family history-type photos from pre-1900.

If anyone needs any mentoring in writing historical family history nonfiction, just ask. One of the most rewarding pursuits has been video recording highlights of the life stories of older adults and helping them dramatize their life stories as skits. I've written a book on how to do this. It's so rewarding and falls under my umbrella or 'foundation' as "acts of kindness."

Personal history can be fun as well as part of a writer's branching out into documentary production. Enjoy.
