Essential oil! Oh golly!

Most liturgical celebrations that I know burn small quantities of frankinsense resin...and I've always thought that the traditional Magi gifts (myth though they might be) included resin from that tree.

Unfortunately, some people can have breathing difficulties due to frankinsense fumes even small amounts of the real & pure stuff!

There are many blends now available from liturigcal supply houses some very bad! Frankinsense that smells like roses...:+(

Oh well, Traute, having been in the choir loft many times when our kids were in choir and / or played instruments for festivities during which lots of insense was burned,and I had to help out, I sympathize with you. The loft is no place to be when insense of any kind is burned, especially if one has breathing difficulties!

Still...the thought of these exotics is romantic and exciting!
