Hope you're doing well!Renie -- posted by Renie_Burghardt » CarolWallace - Re: Ginger and Nachos--Yum! In response to message posted by Renie_Burghardt:Hmmm. I've trued cinnamon in chili, so why not? But whatever made you think of ginger, of all things?? And soy? I can sort of taste it on my tongue and it works for me - but I guess when I think Mexican I tend to get tunnel vision and stick with the traditional seasonings. And I probably miss a lot of fun! -- posted by CarolWallace » CarolWallace - Re: Ginger and Nachos--Yum! In response to message posted by traderz:Actually,it was pretty good. But then cinnamon is one of those traditional mexican seasonings. So it wasn't all that adventurous. You must be a very creative cook! -- posted by CarolWallace » jerrib - I've always added ginger to my meatballs, but never thought of putting it in other dishes - especially nachos! I don't use meat in my nachos. Just pinto beans, jalapenos, cheese, salsa, sour cream and guacamole if I have it. Also spread fresh tomatoes and onions on top after microwaving.Do you think it would spice up the beans? -- posted by jerrib » Renie_Burghardt - Re: I've always added ginger In response to message posted by jerrib:Steve is right, your nachos sound yummy, Jerri. Unfortunately, I am on a serious diet at the moment. But one of these days, I will try it your way. Hi there, Steve! See you later. Renie -- posted by Renie_Burghardt
