» MaggieMay61 - Victorians and older homes That is all good and well but let's examine the logistics of this. . .I purchased a big beautiful Victorian built in 1912. What the previous owners failed to disclose (among many other fraudulent claims) was that the roof leaked. I became sick as well as my family. I had the house tested. To our greatest horror we had seven types of toxic mold. My house was contaminated as well as my lovely antiques, not to mention the health of my family. I vomited every day for a year and not one agency or doctor would help. They are compketely blind sided to this epidemic. My loss is well over $300,000 but the health of myself and my children will never be the same. My advice, move to another country where they tell the truth and buy your Victorian there. Good bye USA. I hate you! -- posted by MaggieMay61
