on a trek south from Spokane, through Bend, ending up on the WA coast. This sounds like a great place to hike. Perhaps we'll have to go back some day and check your hike out; sounds like the road itself is fun. I love these out-of-the-way places with big surprises. Nothing better than the gifts nature has to offer.
