» Green2003 - Aloe plant

Hello.

I have lots of aloe plants at home and don't know what to do with them. The pot that I had planted the first one was so full that the plants started falling out. Even after a month they are green.

What can I do with them?

I would suggest you give them to your neighbors.
I wonder if the leaves can be frozen or dried for later use, perhaps they can be used as a tea.

In response to message posted by lola23:

Funny, now that I think on it, I've never seen aloe sold as a tea or even a tincture. The leaves are so gooey, that they wouldn't dry very well.

According to Juliet de BairaclyLevy, it's the JUICE that is extracted from the leaves and THAT is sun-dried to preserve it. Sounds pretty tedious with little aloe puppies who jumped out of a pot. I agree with the other poster, give them away. Since they take to a new pot SO easily, you might think of giving them to a school for a potting project (and perhaps a child's first introduction to a healing plant!)
