My yoga teacher (82 years old) in Los Angeles started doing yoga when he was 65 years old. At the time he was bed ridden with arthritis, and could not even reach his knees when he did a forward bend. Years of drinking had taken it's toll, but it was not to late for him to change. The first time he went to a class he knew that this would save his life. He stopped drinking thru AA, took up yoga, changed his diet... and what an amazing transformation! He is dairy free, and a vegetarian. For the past year I have been studying a form of Chi-gong that has brought tremedous healing benefits. I interviewed a woman that had been doing it for two years (3 to 4 times a day), she had an affliction that causes the muscles to harden like rock. With in a 3 month period she was able to stand to do the movements, today she is free and clear of the affliction. Plus according to her, her hair went from stark white to black again! I looked at her in disbelief, but she assured me it was so, and continues to do the chi-gong exercises everyday.-- posted by delfin22
