Chlomid???: Re: Who has used Chlomid
This archived discussion is "read only".
» ttcweb - Re: Who has used Chlomid In response to message posted by DaisyCrazy:Just make sure that your doctor monitors you. You should have a progesterone test done on day 21 of your cycle (day 1 is the first day of actual bleeding). This will tell you and your doctor if the clomid worked or if you might need to have the amount adjusted. Because you should not take clomid for an extended period of time, it is better to make sure that it is working at the lowest possible dose as early as possible, then to wait three months and try a higher dose. Clomid should work as long as the only infertility problem is ovulatory in nature. If there are other problems (PCOS, tubal blockage, low sperm count, etc.) then you may need more medical assistance than just clomid. Please feel free to join me in any of my infertility topics or to take my Introduction to Infertility course and I will do my best to answer any questions you have. -- posted by ttcweb
