First note, Thanks to all the people who posted to this site, it was the only one that I found with usefull information regarding the withdrawal symptoms from the patch. I'm definitely a victim too. I was on the patch for two years and finally stopped on Feb 2006. I had my last period during that month and that was it.It's been a year now and no period. Well I did spot for a day or two back in on Oct 06 but it was literally just a drip or two. I thought I had a break through but nothing came after that. I haven't had a period for a year now and my OBGYN finally put me on provera this month Feb 07....I hate that too!!! I've only taken my first round of doses and it makes me depressed...Uncomfortable and moody. Plus I feel like I blow up like a balloon. She's also recommending clomid but I'm scared to take that. My husband and I want to get pregnant too and it's just stressful to go through all this. My doctor also tells me that the patch gets out of your system as soon as your off the patch..."like any other birth control pill" after reading this...I'm not so sure about it that...I'm definitley seeking a second opinion. Good news is I'm healthy for a 28 year old and supposidly everything is working just fine (no tests done to determine that..just her words). My blood work is "normal". I don't drink, don't smoke..never have but this stupid little thing really does bite because I can look totally normal but my body doesn't feel normal anymore. Somethings definitly changed since I've been on or off the patch and I can't explain it I just feel it. My arms and legs fall asleep on me all the time too. Sometimes I feel week, or tired, and yes light headed too. Oh and bad vision. But all that falls under "being normal". Have any of you tried taking prenatal vitamins...that's next on my list...can't hurt to take that right??? For those of you who've already seen a ferterlity doctor...any good news from that? What type of tests do you go through...I'm considering to see one too and I'd feel more comfortable knowing someone out there had some type of success before I spend all my fortunes on it. When I express my symptoms or concerns...I feel like they just get dismissed or they say I'm over reacting and that I'm fine. It's just all depressing for me. I'm just so happy to accidently find this site. ~Maybell78 -- posted by MAYBELL78
