This is actually a very difficult question to answer without additional information as to the type of cysts that you have. If the doctor is taking a 'wait and see' approach, then you most likely have what are called 'functional' cysts or possibly Polycystic Ovaries or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

I would suggest that you go to eTenet and read the information they have about Ovarian Cysts. Once you have read this information you should be able to create a list of questions to ask your doctor. Take the list with you to your next appointment.
