Reason being that my girlfriend was also just diagnosed with PCOS by her gyno. Depo is such an evil drug. I keep asking myself why it's legal, and I know its only because of the money. Those drug companies are paying off everyone they can to keep their big business afloat. And it's such BS! I feel that everyone who has had bad symptoms from Depo has been terribly violated. You all spend your hard earned money to get help, care, and good service from your doctors. Since when is it ok for the doctors not to care about us as much as money?? We go to see them and they take advantage of us in the worst way! By making us sick so we spend more money. It's wrong, something needs to be done soon! Depo is not an easy opponent at all. Also, please email us with any helpful information regarding hormone replacement after depo. Her gyno told us yesterday that her LH hormone was way high. And that she probably has PCOS. She's going for an ultrasound friday. Their gyno is going to pay for this, because they put her on this drug, and her body took to it in a horrible way. They just didn't care, no tests or anything to make sure it took to her good, she's had every test imaginable to find out what her problem is. No one knew it was depo, till I came along. It's so wrong. I made her get off the shot right away when I read these horror stories. I just hope she can get this drug out of her for good and return to normal. I hope her diagnosis of IBS and PCOS is wrong. I wonder how many people with IBS and PCOS took birth control. I'd guess about 100 percent. They're scamming us big time, and killing us. It's got to end. I'm so grateful to all of you who speak up and build websites, if it werent for all of us, my girlfriend could have been dead from cancer right now, if it were left up to her idiotic doctors, nurses, gynos, drug companies and government. I want to sue but we need more information, i beleive they fudged their numbers and lied... they told me it could possibly cause temporary unwanted bleeding, but was "safe" (I bled for 5 months straight) and that it couldn't cause unwanted hair growth...but if you look at their site , it still says nothing about it, but if you look at research sites, it is there in small letters... my sister has the same thing, because of the shot. Today I met a girl who is going through the same problems I am. Scared and confused, we decided to do a little research. We didn't realize how common this was among other women. We have experienced constant bleeding, now that we're off the shot we are having irregular bleeding. This is not a period. We were very healthy, now we are not. We didn't know what was wrong w/ us. our side effects: Extreme emotionl rollercoaster, depression, uncontrolable weightloss, fatigue,nerviousness, loss of appitite, we've become anti-social...you don't want anyone to touch you or be near you, b/c you feel gross. so therefore your sexual relations go down hill from there. You try to be happy, but this is probably the hardest thing to live w/. You take vitamins b/c you don't feel healthy enough. You completely feel disoriented. You can't concentrate. I have breathing problems now. I work in a factory, thinking that the plant was the reason I was having these problems, that I went to a lung doctor. I'm only 20 and she is 21. We are toooooooo young to feel this way, but it all makes sense now. There are others and we can do this research together. We need to figure out what this has done to us. I am also experiencing all of these. Does anyone else feel really stiff when you get out of bed. Sometimes it's hard for me to grip things now. I could sleep all the time if I were aloud to, I get cold alot easier now too. I have allergies and sinus problems now too. I'm always nauseous. I never got sick before (maybe once a year) untl I got on this shot. I hate it. I'm tooooo young to feel like I'm dieing. If I feel like this now, I am afraid to know what it feels like when I'm 30 and 40....60.I hope and pray this clears up for all of us.. One day I would a child myself, To those who are trying....
