I too have a vision of world peace, an ideal for the world, but I struggle with the jaded and cynical side of my personality, something about history has made me come to believe that there will always be those who are willing to buy and sell and plunder human life. I think everyone has an ideal life in their mind for the entire world, unfortunately, before we can even think remotely utopian, we have to start sewing on the patches and placing the bandages on the broken body of life in front of us.-- posted by Dhalgren13
