Good article, thanks. I've been subject to the rolling black-outs here in the San Jose area, and we've been voluntarily sitting in the dark a lot at work (reduced hallway and overhead lights).

PG&E and SCE knew damn well what they were doing when they transfered their assets to the parent holding companies. I hope that no Californian's are buying this "gosh, we don't know what happened, please bail us out" crap.

Thanks for the lead on the renewable energy bill!
