I appreciate all the research and thought that went into this article. It's odd.... last week I saw a piece on this proposed dam on the History Channel! Their slant was about all the archeological sites that would be drowned by it, although they seemed to buy the Turkish gov'ts line on how beneficial it would be for those currently living.
