Tina,

Actually this book found me. I was lucky to have Shari Dash Greenspan come upon my bullying course online. She wrote to me and asked me to review this book and add it to the resource section of the course, which I did.

Then, I wrote Shari and asked her to forward me other books from Flashlight Press. She sent me 4 others. I'll be reviewing them in the next few weeks. They're terrific.

to get a package of books to review, Mary. It would be interesting to see how this ties in with your bullying course you wrote.

Jerri,

I recommended the book as a resource. It helps children learn that people much different from ourselves can be our friends.

It's a great book, well written and with a valuable life lesson.

A book such as this is great for kids. Bullies seem to come out of the woodwork sometimes, so a good story is great for the bullied as well as for bullies who may recognize themselves.

Virginia,

It is a terrific read. I gave it to Brandon when I was done reviewing it and both he and Jordan loved it.

Brandon is often bullied because of his Asperger's and knowing that others are also bullied helps a little. It's hard having a disability which makes you the object of others scorn. It's a hard life lesson, for sure.

Glad you enjoyed the review. Thanks for stopping by. It's always nice to see you here.
