» jerrib - Now that's a fish tale!

I was expecting to read of battle and was pleasantly surprised at your tale. I always wondered how soldiers back then managed to eat to stay alive. How interesting, Mary!

Hi Jerri,
No blood and guts in this one--except for the fish, that is. I guess there was some strong opinions, at the time and after, about just where General Crook's army should have been while the Battle of the Little Bighorn was raging. I'm researching for an S101 course on the L B-Horn and came up with this article.
Thanks, Mary

» Red - fishing...

Mary,

Like Jerri, I was expecting a tale about a battle. Instead, I heard the most amazing fish story of my life.

Thanks for sharing this. I love history and fishing, so this article made my day.

Winter's been frigid here since Jan. 1st, but the last week has been milder. What kind of winter have you had?

Hi Mary,
We have too many things in common, now history and fishing, as well as the dogs. Sibu, the husky, says Hi! Winter has been like spring here, until a couple of days ago. I have bulbs coming up everywhere and the roses are sprouting leafs, then it frosted, but things look okay. I wonder what it has done to the fruit trees here. Haven't heard anything.
Take care and keep warm,
Mary
