» Renie_Burghardt - Immigrant Turkeys

Hi Mary, well, I am surprised by your article, for I did always believe that turkeys were native to North America. I raised a few turkeys for a while, but as pets, not to eat or anything. One of them, named Ludwig, was a beautiful bird of mixed parentage, so he had beautiful, colored feathers. He delighted in trying to stomp on the muscovy drake's to death, so eventually, I had to get rid of him. But he was a handsome, huge Tom.

I enjoyed the article, and thanks so much for the links. Happy Thanksgiving, Mary!
