» dyffydapanne - My first missive here on the Goddess Greetings,This is my first excursion into the interesting world of talk groups. I have been a fervent follower of the Mother for over 30 years. My studies range from Shinto to Celtic to Native American religion.I have studied all 3 of the religions of 'the Book',as well. Eliade and Campbell have been some of my mainstays, but there are too many other influences for me to list at this time.My Goddess library is well in excess of 400 volumes, and it grows weekly. Yes,I have read almost every one of them. I am a Solitary, and I plan to do courses with the Fellowship of Isis starting this Summer. My patron dieties at this time are; Kwan Yin,Cerridwen,Aronrhod,Artemis,Danu & Grandmother Spider. I come from a mixed background of Louisiana Creole and Pennsy Quaker, with a little Catholicism added for good measure. Our home is densely populated by images of the Mother throughout.( One more statue, and the building will collapse.) I am an admirer of Callenbach's 'Ecotopia',and Edward Abbey is one of my major heroes. Well, this is a start...
