Gifts for Gifted and Talented TeensRead the article this discussion is about

» Woden_the_Great - Gifts This article is very informative. I wish my mother would have read it before she bought my Christmas presents. Don't get me wrong I am happy with what I got, but there are a few things I would like to have had in place of others. But there is one thing that I found in the article that I didn't agree with. The "rebellious clothing" part to be exact. Some of my friends, including myself, are "gifted", but we do not wish to conform to any "prefab" image of any type. So, in turn, we flow against the stream. I guess the main point I'm trying to make is, that is truly is difficult to know what to get a "gifted" teenager. But, anyway, fantastic article. Keep up the good work.Woden -- posted by Woden_the_Great » RoslynT - Re: Gifts In response to message posted by Woden_the_Great:Woden, I love the way you included yourself as one of your friends. I think this concept would be readily taken up by satisfied teenagers, but I feel for those who must seek another challenge before they accept themselves. What do you think, Heather? All I want to say myself about Gifts for gifted teenagers is that the main thing is that any gift we give should simply express our love for the receiver. They shouldn't ever feel the gift must be used to develop their wonderful abilities because they aren't good enough already. Thanks for the forum, Heather.
