» tracylynn1111 - finding dimes

I too find dimes everywhere. I keep wondering 'what it all means'. One of the strangest places I found one, was while standing on a ladder trying to scrape the surrounding border off my wall, I found a dime on the ledge above a doorway. What's a dime doing there of all places.

Still wondering.

In response to finding dimes posted by tracylynn1111:

I became aware of the 'finding dimes'(10cent pieces in Australian terms) when I found a series of them about two years ago. Like a lot of other people who have been experiencing this phenomenon, I didn't really understand it but accepted it as something to do with 'unseen reality'. Anyway, the other day I was going through a mental process which culminated in a feeling of 'oh, yes, I get it, this is the way to go' when, right at my feet was a shiny ten cent piece on the edge of the footpath I was about to step onto. It seemed this time like a confirmation that I was 'getting it' - and later on, I thought of the term 'right on the money', meaning that you are spot on in your reasoning. So now I'm more inclined to think that there is some form of communication going on. In one of the other posts on this subject I came across the statement that this is the way that entities from 'beyond' give reassurance to people who are open to it that things are going to be alright. And certainly, from that moment on I have had more peace of mind and the feeling that I'm progressing along the right lines. A lot of positive things have happened in my life since then.

with best regards,
Pauline

I was in the dentist's chair about five years ago and the hygenist told me how she kept finding dimes in the oddest places after her mother died. She believed it was a sign that she was letting her know everything would be okay. It was a long, drawn out story, about how others in her family experienced it with other loved ones. I reflected on that when I started finding dimes about a year ago; on the ground; on the back seat of my car once; where no one ever sits and I never place a purse. I've thought about it off and on, but yesterday I got curious about how widespread the phenomenon is when I found a shiny new 2005 dime and it just felt like it held meaning.

Well, Years later I still find Dimes everywhere. Since I originally posted this story, I've been reading many other people's responses and stories regarding Dimes randomly appearing. Today I got thinking what the lyrics were from a song called "Pennies From Heaven", by Bing Crosby. It doesn't really mean a whole lot to me...but I wonder if there is a connection I still havent figured out yet.

Since then I have broken up with my boyfriend...and been single for a few years. Later on I met up with an old friend and we started dating. Now we are married. From time to time I still find dimes in the most random places. This past Saturday I found a Dime under my husband's friend's dishwasher at his house. I havent kept track of how many or where I've found all the Dimes, but should start a log!

Erica quartznh@yahoo.com

Here are the lyrics to Bing Crosby's song:
"A long time ago
A million years BC
The best things in life
Were absolutely free.
But no one appreciated
A sky that was always blue.
And no one congratulated
A moon that was always new.
So it was planned that they would vanish now and them
And you must pay before you get them back again.
That's what storms were made for
And you shouldn't be afraid for
Every time it rains it rains
Pennies from heaven.
Don't you know each cloud contains
Pennies from heaven.
You'll find yor fortune falling
All over town.
Be sure that your umbrella is upside down.
Trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers.
If you want the things you love
You must have showers.
So when you hear it thunder
Don't run under a tree.
There'll be pennies from heaven for you and me"

Shortly after my father's death in Aug. 2001. I started to find dimes. I would find them at times when I had a lot on my mind. I knew that it had to be from him, reasuring me things would be okay. But I couldn't figure what the connection was between my dad & dimes. But as others mentioned I would find them all the time, and not with other coins. The number of times, places, and events connected with finding them, made it impossible to be just coincidence. I've started keeping them separate.

I did not know of others experiencing this. I had heard from a friend about feathers, which I saw someone mention. However, I don't find feathers. My sister had gone to lunch last week with a client whose mother had passed away. This women said she had been finding quarters since her mother's death. My sister shared my experiences as well as a few of her own with dimes.

My sister kept my father's car. And when she cleaned it out she found 7 dimes. No other money just the 7 dimes all together!

My recent dime finding was over a friends house. She is in the process of divorcing her husband, so the house had been cleaned out. I was using the bathroom before we were going out that night and I saw in the corner a dime. Of course I picked it up and put it in my jeans pocket to keep with me. That night I took my jeans off and left them in my bathroom. The next morning I put on another pair of jeans that I had left in the bathroom and went to church. When I put my hand in the pocket the dime was in that pair of jeans. How it got there I don't know!

I could go on and on! I only share my dime findings with a few close friends as I feel some would think I'm a little nutty! But I have no doubt it is some sort of communication from my dad or maybe even my mom!!!

This is sooo weird! I just posted a topic in my MySpace group that I formed called 'finding dimes'
I have recently been finding dimes absolutely everywhere! First it was pennys. I would vacuum the floor.. and I always make sure there's nothing that would get caught in it..like coins. when I was done, I would look down and find pennys!

Now, it's dimes dimes dimes... no other coins.

I've had strange things happen before... being a ghost investigator.. but, this is new to me!
I just by chance found this site simply by typing in 'dimes and ghosts in my google.. this is amazing. I'm so glad that there are others out there.
check out my MySpace and see my group called 11:11 and the paranormal. search for me under ghostinvestigater@yahoo.com

I just came across this website today.....very interesting stories! So excited to know I'm not crazy for "noticing" so many dimes lately! During the past 4 years or so, I have found feathers several times- appear from nowhere, the last time was on Nov.1st a couple years ago. Eating dinner with friends at a restaurant, a feather drifted down from the ceiling and landed in my plate (we were discussing dead loved ones at the time) Anyway, no feathers lately.......dimes started appearing in weird places this past year. At first I didn't think much of it, found them in the bottom of the washing machine, the car, kitchen counter....yesterday I found one while clothes shopping.Never any other coins with it, just a dime alone. It just seems like I am meant to notice them for some reason. It feels comforting in some strange way doesn't it?? Love to hear more stories too!!!!!!!

» Randall44 - It's been happening to me to.

For the past 2 years i've been finding dimes everywhere just like you guys and its always made me think there was a supernatural reason for it. When I find one, something good always follows making me believe it may be a good luck omen.
I found this site by hunting for answers to this mystery, and to see if this is happening to others as well.
Something new has also recently developed that isn't really related, but I thought i'd mention it just the same.
Very frequently when I look at a digital clock it has sucessive numerals displayed on it such as 1:11 , 2:22 , 5:55 etc.
Its like my eyes are drawn to the clock when these times are displayed.
Maybe someone out there can give me some insight into this mystery as well, or direct me to another website with this subject matter.
Thanks

» Glory20 - My first dime.

My sister passed away on Aug.29, 2005. We were extremely close and talked some about her impending death. She said before she died that she would send me signs and that there would be no mistaking these signs to be from her. Over the last 4 months I have had several signs from her in various forms. The latest came today.
Last night while online I came across a site about a man who had a tattoo of a dime on his wrist. His young some had died tragically and he began finding dimes everywhere. He decided to have a dime tattooed to in some way honor his son. Later in the evening I picked up my sisters picture and began to talk to her as I sometimes do. I asked her to send me a sign and asked that it be a dime. Today my husband and young son went to a movie. It was pouring rain as we pulled into the parking lot. I opened my door to get out and there on the ground, in the rain was a dime. I stopped in my tracks and was kind of stunned. It was dated 1971, a year where I went through a very tough time and my sister was there for me.
Having read the many posts re. finding dimes as a sign from a departed loved one tells me there is more to this than coincidence.

» QuartzNH - Re: My first dime.

My dimes that I find has never had a connection with anyone in my life that has passed away. That I know of...

Well, when my brother passed a way a few years ago, the day I of the funeral I found a dime with a little black mark on it. The black speck looks like a tear coming out of Roosevelt's eye. And I still have the dime today. The only one I actually kept.
