I have found great peace and comfort reading all the postings about finding dimes. My Mother started finding dimes a few weeks ago all over her home and after some time, innocently told my middle sister, who lives with her and my Father. My Mother could not possibly know of any signifigence as she is already mentally challenged and now suffers from Alzhemier's disease. My sister just thought it was par for the course...until she began to see them too. My father became unusually ill about 7 days ago and now is in stage 5 Cancer. My sister saw them on the porch of their home, under the gurney in the ER and under the bed in the hospital. After bringing my Father home to be comfortable in his final days, my oldest sister saw one on the rug at his feet after she had just vacumed very throughly and swears there was nothing there. But a bright, shiny dime in the middle of the floor can't be overlooked. Now I see them in my own home in the strangest of places. We collect them in a jar at the front door. I can't be sure what it means but I'd like to believe some loving spirit must be here to guide my Father into his next life while comforting us in this present one. Whatever it is, it comes at the right moment to help my family cope with the future. It puts a smile on our faces, makes the hair on our necks stand up and has us believing in the unbelievable. Im really sorry to hear about your daughter, but the pennies are from heaven. James Van Praagh calls them pennies from heaven. So rest asure your daugher is fine and is with you often.

For example I live alone and in the backyard I have a big fountain. The dog wanted to play ball and the ball landed in the water...I walked over to retrieve the ball and on the bottom of the fountain was a shiny dime. There is a lot of soot like dirt in the bottom and I never turn on the fountain. I checked on the dime for a few days until it disappeared under the soot. This is just one example so I’m sorry but I don’t buy the being on alert for dimes theory.

In response to Call me a skeptic, but... posted by mysticmind:Tis true! I was having lunch today..after only reading this topic yesterday, having never heard of the issue before. Something fell on the floor a short distance from me but was ignored by other diners. I walked to pick up...a US dime.
This was in Martin Plaza, Sydney, Australia. Where even our one cent piece ceased to be legal tender many years ago.
Neither Gene Pitney nor a jukebox are in sight, this Saturday night...let alone one that takes dimes.
Is someone thinking there's a need for a cargo cult here?

Oh my GOD. I was sitting on the sofa watiching the "Quest to Atlantis", when something told me to go to the internet and type in "What does it mean if you are finding many dimes"? I was absoultely floored. I didn't think that I would find anything.... and there is was!!!! My heart started to race as I read the experiences of others that had been finding dimes. I know why this is happening now.It is my ex-husband who passed away December 4th of 2005. He has contacted me in other ways, now I know it is true. As I was reading the experiences of others.
I received a phone call while reading the postings, It was my daughter in Chicago. She told me that she didn't know why she called me, because we had just spoken just 15 minutes ago for at least an hour. She told me that she had been previously speaking to her deceased step-dad as she so often does, and had the erge to call me.
Before I could say anything about what I had experienced she told me that she had been finding a lot of dimes. She said that she had been finding a lot of pennies, but for the last 5-6 months it has been dimes. She told me that she would save them in a jar. She went on to tell me that she was very low on cash and didn't want to ask me for money again, so she went to her jar and to her suprise she had saved $10.00 in dimes. I was really in shock.
I then told her what was going on with me. She started to cry and said , " Mom I don't wanna hear anymore" this is scaring me. I told her not to be afraid that it wasn't just her deceased step-dad, it was my Father and Grandmother and best friend that was sending us messages. I feel they are watching over all of us. It makes me feel great inside, but for some reason, it makes me feel strange as well.
I was telling a co-worker that I had been finding a lot of dimes everywhere. She replied " Oh really that about 8 people walked out, and right then I heard a clinking sound hit the floor. I looked down and so did she. A dime rolled down the floor towards me and I stepped on it to stop it from rolling. My co-worker looked at me and said that is freakin' creepy.
The last dime I found was yesterday. I was moving clothes in my closet and a dime feel out of the clothes and in front of my foot. I picked it up and place in my drawer. This all happen before I discovered this site.

In response to It's been happening to me to. posted by Randall44:hi randall44- I was surprised to read that "your eyes seem to be drawn to the clock" because i do the same thing- especially at 9:23, which is my birthday. I also have found dimes in the past 6 monthes ...I was told by a friend that they were a sign from an angel, and at first I thought I just never noticed them lying around so often however I find them in the oddest places ,for instance: one morning at work I found one in the middle of the register,which should have been empty because I had put all the money away and locked up the night before. I feel so neat when I find one now, its very uplifting

I found one yesterday and every time I find one, It is really shocking to me!!! I started to notice them about 3 years ago. I lost a sister 5 years ago but I think the dimes are deeper than that. Also someone metion something about feathers and the numbers 2:22. Maybe It is another form of someone communicating with us!! When you find more let me Know Mizzkemah@yahoo.com

What is going on? Every where i look i find dimes. I had told my mother about this and she dont believe me. It started about a month ago while on vacation in Virginia Beach. Sometimes I will find 3 dimes a day. Is this someone from above trying to tell me something. The other day I got out of my car and looked down there was a new shiny dime laying there. At first when this started happening i really didnt think anything of it. Now it is starting to make me wonder. Since I came across this web site i dont feel so alone.-- posted by g_force1979

Isn't it amazing how things randomly happen. I've only been finding dimes for the past few weeks. After the first three...I started putting them in a pocket in my purse. When I dropped one in the pocket just now...I counted 18 of them...I just had to research the meaning...in the past week my sister has had a successful surgery on her back, thank goodness...but, I also had a friend die suddenly from a heart attack, and another friend diagnosed with Cancer...I hope the dimes are just telling me to "pay better attention to my loved ones"...either way...I will keep "paying attention"!!!
