Careful, Erica. I have no problem with the spirits of departed loved ones honoring me with their presence. I do have a problem when another human being allows himself to be used as medium of spirits. In my experience, those spirits have been demon spirits, and some of them have been with the person since early childhood, usually an abusive childhood.

I am dealing with such a situation at the moment with two such demon spirits speaking through a man. One of them I call the "little helpless boy" spirit, begging for sympathy. The other one, however, is vicious, and he is after my life. I have had to speak to that spirit with the authority which I have as a Christian, commanding him in the name of Jesus to take his hands off me, and he has.

The man who is indwelled by these two spirits claims not to have any recollection of any of these episodes afterwards, and he may be telling the truth. I know that he could be delivered from the demons, and I know others who have. Unfortunately, he is too proud to admit that he needs help.

If I were in your shoes, Erica, I would get out of that situation faster than you can count to three. We have a topic at Suite101 which deals with this problem exclusively, Dissociative Identity Disorder. Sometimes the term MPD was used, multiple personality disorder.

im very deperate !me and my friend are being plagued by spirits infultrating our minds.let me start at beginning 4 years ago me and my friend used a makeshift spell to summon spirits to us .my friend has been hearing her sprit talk for four years.it speaks through her and can control her body.its a women and she is very violent and evil towards people .it has a completely diffrent voice from hers i know because ive heard it speak to me two times.it has a british accent.it has strangled her dad .a docter diagnosed her with a rare psychosis and she has taken 4 diffrent types of medication and none has worked and shes been to instituition as a day patient but none of this has worked it just gets stronger every day!it trys to kill people and contol my friend,on daily basis.it hates me for two reasons.one of them being my spirit (a young man)and her knew each other in our past lives apparently.her spirit being a contolling murder in search of partner and mine being a timidand childish rapist/achollic who was abused in childhood.and they can finish each others sentences and her spirits still instills fear in him.okay now to me he trys to contol me on daily basis and talk through me just like my friends .but i can still prevent mine from talking but i get physical pain from doing so .it sucks energy from me daily to try to make me rape women.like my friend i take medication and see a doctor but =none it works!one day ill end up like her im afraid ,her being much worse off .hers trys to isolate her to control her.that being the second reason it hates me i stand up to it and tell it off.please help us!we cant take it anymore!

Alright. I'm a Medium/Clairvoyant/Clairaudient/Psychic/Prophet/Tarot Card reader. I have my own shops and I teach a class on spiritual awareness, but the thing is, I just started out with this! And, I'm new at this, and I don't usually call spirits to me, or anything, I don't do those types of rituals, but, somehow, I have a spirit attatched to me that's very negative. It tries to copy me, it basically tries to control my mind. It tells me alot of lies and gibberish like "i'll be with it forever". It's kind of like the stalker ex boyfriend. He won't leave and he doesn't get the fact I'm not in love with him. It's somehow "in love" with me, and tells me a buncha crap, I don't believe. It tries to attatch itself to my energy, and when I want it gone, it threatens me. It says no one will believe me, I'll go insane, I'll be in a mental ward, everything. I've asked several different people for advice on what to do. Many have zero an idea on how to handle spirits, I'm learning that as I go along, as they haven't had any real experience with spirits. So, I guess, I am asking those that know exactly how to deal with spirits/demons ona regular basis. I say spirit/demons, because I've been in contact before with my spirit guides, and angels, and this thing feels absolutely nothing like them. And I know it's not a ghost/earth bound spirit, because it's not trapped, and I tried sending it to the light and it has deliberately refused to leave my home. Rituals won't get rid of it, and I'm really too weak to cast anything so, any advice would help plenty.. Right now, I need to speak with an experienced medium that I know channels the light and not dark. Trust me, I know inexperience can cause serious problems.. I know that. There are several types of entities that are able to live inside of us once they manage to get through our aura.
1) Is the normal fragment of a human soul, a small part that got broke away and got lost going to heaven, to speak with such a fragment you would find it with a mono perception.
2) is an entire person who hasnt gone to heaven and needs energy to surive. Once one is in a permanent whole is made and more soon enter.
3)Other types of energies "Demons" have been around since the garden of eden and are very very active today. They go looking for lost earthbound souls. Most people has a demon they just play out in eaches lives differently .
4)Aliens interfere with our bodys draining our energy which they feed of
5) Alien walk-ins step in when a person decided to return to heaven and no longer wants their body.
Heaven sent loved ones do not possess our bodys nore are they allowed to with out our permission and even then it is not highly looked upon.

Thank you for your responses. Because of my up bringing of my religious back ground, I was able to help my then boyfriend, now husband on getting rid of unwanted entities.

The update is that my then boyfriend and now husband is currently in prison is not expected to be home until October 2007. As far as I know we were able to get rid of the spirits. However, I'm not sure fully if they were there to begin with.

Personally I believe in other entities and the paranormal. Some things were true about this incident, but I'm not sure which parts were exaggerated on his end.

However this is how I feel we were able to get rid of the entities. Because of my religious upbringing, my beliefs are fairly strong even though I'm not religious. I am not practicing any particular religion, but I have spiritual side.

But I was able to help convince my husband that the demons or spirits were NOT Satan himself. And he was able to get rid of them with this knowledge. I explained to him in the bible why this entity could not be the Devil. Plus, the situation was fairly minor considering what it could have been. Things never escalated beyond voices, pretty much.

These entities did not like the fact that I would argue with them with compassion, love, honesty, etc. They eventually gave up because they weren't going to break us up or break either one of our spirits or faith in God. The spirits tried to play off that they were stronger and more intimidating than they really were. And I picked up on that fairly quickly. They had no idea "who I was" and that bothered them. It helped that I'm a little bit of a psychic and I knew they were not mind readers. They hated that I didn't give them clues through my behavior or voice, only my words told them what was going on.

His grandparents still write through me. At times not often, I'm able to do automatic writing. Unexplained things have happened in my life ever since I could remember. This wasn’t "anything new", but it was different from my other experiences. In a way, it was kind of fun to deal with! Imagine that.
