There are some sites that do not research. I wrote to two of them when they had some haunted places that are not haunted. I wrote to to of them and got a reply back from both. The one, at first, denied that his site had the places listed as haunted. I wrote back and said it was one a joint venture site. The stories are still on the site. I got a reply from heWintersteeltersteel, and they corrected the information. As you know, it is too time consuming to verify all of the information sent in to a site. And, the paranormal has its intrinsic difficulties in that the human mind can play tricks on us and there are outright hoaxers. These slip by the best intentioned web hosts. I have no problem with this. What I have a problem with is, that when these untrue stories of haunted places are brought to the hosts' attention and remain on the site. Secondly, I understand how incorrect information can be so disappointing. I like the wintersteel site and find it very information, although, I have not seen the survivalafterdeath.org site.
