Luckily, my family is much more acepting now. My Mom did want to see the pictures of our Holy Union before she passed away and my Dad now is a part of our lives and tries his best to be accepting.

I regret they couldn't share such a special day with me, but I consider it more their loss than mine. At least they couldn't do anything to make it a bad memory if they weren't there! Ya gotta look at the positive!
