I was lucky in I sort of had someone really inspire me with this fable. I first heard this story back when we were fighting to have the sale go through of the church building. This is one of the situations I talked about in my terrorism article. When I heard this at a church revival in Washington DC, I was so inspired that I took a very public stand, wrote a letter to the editor, came out to the whole area via that letter and cost me my parents for many years. I wanted to alert them to what I had done because there might be some fall out for them. They forbade me to do it. I said I was in my 30's and I wasn't asking for their permission. They couldn't believe that I did it anyway! LOL. They gave me total grief over it and years later I found out that no one ever mentioned it to them and they suffered nothing what so ever in the way of circumstances! And I remain very proud if that letter. It is one of the best things I ever wrote and surely the most significant. I am an eagle not a chicken and I won't accept what society says I am or should be. -- posted by stillwaters
