A Google search brought up a slew of images of more maples than I ever thought existed. There were some of Japanese Gardens that were most wonderful.
Alas, no images of Acer pseudoplatanus 'Esk Sunset'. However there were two New Zealand sources that might be leads to more data if they can be contacted.

Acer pseudoplatanus Esk Sunset
A medium sized tree with unusual pink and cream variegations. When the leaves are viewed from beneath they are purple red. Ht 3m.
