Thanks, Lorraine for sharing your garden visits. I couldn't help comparing the "in" plants of these gardens to what has been fashionable in both Australia and New Zealnd for the past years. The succulents in pots, I saw these, especially in New Zealand, a few years ago and the grasses too!

With the grave water shortage in most of Australia, these trend is to plant Aussie natives that are undemanding re water intake. But they will have to get rid of the salt that is formed by over use of the soil, for even the natives to flourish

Thank goodness, I have the opposite worry - too much water!
