Hi Ellie,Great to have you aboard! My garden in Alaska is already done this year, thanks to big winds for a week. Our growing season is so short, I can't imagine having one for so many months, as you do. Heck, we had a relatively dry month of August and I had to water my plants once! I'll bet you water.... daily?
I look forward to seeing what else you'll have here! Thanks for a good read.

(I'm in Washington State) and we were just discussing gardening in Florida. I'm taking your link to him along with some print-outs. Welcome to Suite101! I'm sure you will enjoy being here.We are currently enjoying green beans, summer squash, strawberries and corn in our garden. I'm afraid I have not been very kind to my flowers this year. I have a lot of fall work to do.

So glad you're here to cover a much needed topic. Florida can be so different from the other 49 states that we've really needed someone with experience there - and here you are!
