» Ravenlea - Welcome

Hi!

Well, I don't live in Florida and I don't have a garden but I enjoyed your article anyway. I will forward the link to a cyber friend of mine who both lives in Florida and likes to garden.

I wish you much success with both your garden and your articles.

Many blossoms,

» SandyMcC - Welcome to the Suite!

Hi Ellie,

Great to have you aboard! My garden in Alaska is already done this year, thanks to big winds for a week. Our growing season is so short, I can't imagine having one for so many months, as you do. Heck, we had a relatively dry month of August and I had to water my plants once! I'll bet you water.... daily?

I look forward to seeing what else you'll have here! Thanks for a good read. smile Stop by 'my place' and say hi!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I'm very excited about starting with Suite101. I've been surfing this site for quite some time and it feels good to be with quality folks. I'd like to share cyber-garden stories with you. Thanks again for the good wishes. Ellie

Alaska! Wow, I'd really like to check up on gardening that far north! I appreciate the welcome and look forward to sharing lots of garden wisdom over the cyber-gate.

» jerrib - My uncle's here visiting from Florida

(I'm in Washington State) and we were just discussing gardening in Florida. I'm taking your link to him along with some print-outs. Welcome to Suite101! I'm sure you will enjoy being here.

We are currently enjoying green beans, summer squash, strawberries and corn in our garden. I'm afraid I have not been very kind to my flowers this year. I have a lot of fall work to do.

Anyway, Welcome!

Hey there. Thanks for the welcome. I'm getting my topics all in a row and looking forward to getting feedback. Florida's an amazing place for a gardener. Tell your uncle to stop by often and share his experiences over this cyber-fence!

» Carol Wallace - Welcome Ellie!

So glad you're here to cover a much needed topic. Florida can be so different from the other 49 states that we've really needed someone with experience there - and here you are! I've had browser problems the past two days or I would have been here sooner - I'm on my way now to make you the "spotlight" subject in the Garden Center.

Carol: Thanks for the welcome. Your message was dated Sept. 10th. By the next day we all were numbed by events in New York, Washington, DC and Pittsburgh. Let's hope that our work in the gardens of this country can help heal a massive wound. Blessings.

I would love to read about xeriscapes for Florida. I am way over the high water bills I pay. Any news on that front? Thanks for the informative site.
