I totally agree with you that thinking about things in a new way can lead to all kinds of inspiration. Sometimes just changing the label on something makes you see it in a new light - like the revelation I had when I realized that a lot of my "weeds" were actually wildflowers that people were actually spending money on in the nursery.

So if you look at something as a still point it leads you to a slightly different concept than a "place to sit" - and if you try to see a garden as a poem that can lead you somewhere else entirely.

Why owrry about rambling in your articles? I never do. ;-) Sometimes the ramble can also lead us to an interesting point.
