That was a great article! I am amazed that it has not received some commentary. From the lavish sandstone built Red Fort in Dehli to Shalimar, this Emperor constructed palaces and gardens, to my mind were never again matched. I am so glad that he and his wife are buried together in their Taj Mahal.

Finally, I am happy that I can also put a link to this great article to my much more humble one.
