Hi Kirk
This archived discussion is "read only".
» seranade - Hi Kirk I remember you posted on my site that you owned a cat named Yin. What type of cat is she?n Also I read your article about the flower show you entered. I liked your table design commemorating Budda. It all really tied together the oriental screen which was a backdrop for the oriental dishes, oriental flower arrangement and the menu with budda on it.-- posted by seranade » Kirk_Johnson - Re: Hi Kirk In response to Hi Kirk posted by seranade:Yin looks like a sealpoint siamese, but she is only half siamese. One of her sisters looked like a bluepoint, but the rest of the litter were tabbies. Yin shows some faint tabby markings on her mask and her tail - darker makings on her dark points. Yin is much less vocal than most siamese cats; when she does vocalise it is with delicate chirps. She doesn't sound like a siamese at all. Every year local organizations decorate the Hughes house, it was built in 1898 and is now a museum. I was in charge of two rooms this year, the dining room and the men's parlor. I dried about a third of the hydrangeas and everything that is painted gold or red. I also decorated the tree in the dining room, but the rest of the decorating was done by my helpers. I just directed the creative chaos. -- posted by Kirk_Johnson
