Howie, Finally, a garden that I have visited, too! I was there in July with the Perennial Plant Association and took loads of pictures! I also brought home a plant or two from their gift shop (I just can't seem to help myself. ..)

Wonderful place!

I wish!!!! Any suggestions for best season to visit? (I have been known to visit in August because places look their "worst" and February (a zone south of here) because there were blooms to make me sneeze already, so I'm sort of flexible.)

One way to control the urge to acquire more plants when visiting gardens is to go to distant ones by plane so you have an excuse to control yourself. The second is to fall in love with one too big to handle.

2) Barbara, since you have relatives nearby you have an excuse to visit anytime. Spring for the flowering bulbs, summer before August, and check with Abby for all other times.

Seriously, though, I thought Tower Hill was a goldmine of ideas for home gardeners, and practically wore out my new camera trying to record them all. Even the wildscaped parking area was interesting. <img src="http://www.suite101.com/userfiles/79/rhubarb.gif" alt="rheum" align=left>
