Coffee table with laminate top
This archived discussion is "read only".
» Sydney33 - laminate top I have a cheap little coffee table with a laminate top. It has places that look dull. They look like big finger prints but are in the laminate. Polishing does no good. My question is...would painting it with a clear coat of shelac solve the problem? Would I need to first sand or use steel wool to rough it? If shelac won't work, is there some other way I can improve its appearance? Can you paint over the top of a laminate? If I can paint over the top, what prep work would I need to do?Appreciate the Help, jan -- posted by Sydney33
