I just had to add to this post when I saw it...

It was a real culture shock when I came to America and realized that shaving for women was SUCH A BIG DEAL. I have never shaved my legs. I love my hair, and my male friends loved it too. they were fascinated by it. I had a boyfriend once who didn't want me to shave my armpit! :-) :-)

Now I am feeling pressure all around to shave my legs. It seems to be some horrible sin if I don't shave. I am fighting it so far though. I don't want to do it just to conform, but sometimes it gets really hard and annoying to see people's reaction (as if I am some hairy beast). It's good to know that there are others who feel the same way I do. I will fight on!
