I agree with Jerri...lots of great information that you've provided here in an easy-to-read, and digest, manner.I found it kind of sad and ironic that though as consumers increasingly seek organic foods, people-less tractors will soon be running the fields. -- posted by feistyfemale56 » Connie Krochmal - Re: What a wealth of information! They showed up early on in my supermarket. -- posted by Connie Krochmal » Connie Krochmal - Re: Re: What a wealth of information! That is the trend in greenhouses too because labor is either unavailable or more expensive than what the owners want to pay. -- posted by Connie Krochmal » jerrib - Re: Re: Re: What a wealth of information! I'm really surprised at not having "grapples" here, as apples are a big agricultural product here. -- posted by jerrib » Connie Krochmal - Re: Re: Re: Re: What a wealth of information! In the advertising flyer from my supermarket I noticed there was a blurb about the grapples, and made it a point to see what they were like. I imagine they were available sooner on the west coast. -- posted by Connie Krochmal » jerrib - Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: What a wealth of information!
