Brian Carpenter Very interesting viewpoint, Larry. I was just wondering, since you seem to have a real drive for exploration, ect. whether you are familiar with the works of David Hatcher Childress?

Also, when I was researching for a book on Alexander the Great, as I recall, there was a writer who seemed to be maintaining that the reason Alexander roamed so far was not for any military-oriented idea, but rather a desire to see and conquer the unknown. I think the ancient word was "Pothos"

Myabe this is the tragedy of modern life- no more worlds left to conquer...

I have not encountered the works of Childress. But I can remedy that, I think, with a little exploration.
