I cannot get Kaufmann's department store to stop sending fragrance in their catalogues and bills. Other companies have done it with just a phone call but after several tries Kaufmann's has not complied. This is my Mother's account or else I would just cancel the charge (which I had to do with my own account with them). Can someone help?

Maybe a formal letter would help, signed by your mother. I would write something that is to the point but not terse in tone, since people don't really understand that it is a problem. Explain that you enjoy shopping there, but you have an illness to fragrances and because of that you must throw all mailings and catalogues away. Find out who the CEO of Kaufmann's is and send it directly to him. That may take care of the problem.
